Another Simple Lampshade!
I had a break from sewing yesterday, to make these little lampshades. I used the lovely scraps of vintage French fabrics that I bought at The American Museum.
All you need to do is cut or tear the fabric into small squares or oblongs. Then taking an old card lampshade as a base, start gluing the pieces down. I used PVA glue, as it dries clear.
Make sure you smooth the fabric down, with no wrinkles. Cover the entire shade, overlapping slightly where necessary.
I have several more shades to cover, so will probably take them along to sell on my stand at the next Antiques Fair.
