Correction...

I've just heard today that 'BBC Homes & Antiques' magazine will be printing a correction in the next issue with regard to them giving the wrong address for my new shop, which accompanied our home's photo shoot in the June issue . They do admit that it was their fault, so I had hoped for a little more, but this does seem to be all that will happen.

It's a shame, as Nicky Owen and I spent a long time working through everything to make sure the report was spot-on…
I’ve had customers in Nostalgia at No.1 (after them reading the magazine article), asking if I have another shop, as they haven’t connected ‘Nostalgia at the Stone House’ with my shop in Shepton Mallet…

But being positive, at least I haven’t had anyone that I am aware of, turning up at our house looking for it… (I did once have a shop at home but that room has been our kitchen for the last 7 years!)

  2. Niki, hi! I have been reading your blog for years now. What a beautiful shop, home and things you have. You probably have been told all the time, it is just dreamy. You mention at one point you have a shop within the premises of your home. Can you tell me how was that experience? I'm about to buy a property with my home and 2 shops on it. I'm going to close my big shop that I have for 13 years. My husband is very worry about people disrespecting our privacy. Did you encounter any problems when you did that? I think I can set boundaries, then again I got some pushy costumers. Any pointers will be appreciated, Marta.

  6. What a shame they didn't get it right the first time & at least you haven't had people walking into your kitchen thinking it is a shop!
I loaned H&A some items for a photo shoot for next month's magazine so I hope they get my details right.

    Hello Niki,
I read the magazine (I said that in a previous spot :-)) What a pity ! UNFORTUNATLY I can't come in your shop "in reality" this Summer. Perhaps next year if we come again in holiday in GB.
So thank you to share other photos from your home, it's beautiful. I like colours and materials you chose.
Passez une très bonne semaine !
